Halloween Ends petitions.
I saw some fans making petitions asking Universal and Blumhouse to reshoot The movie. Some fans are not happy about the movie and now they are asking to remake it.

I just watched this last night, and it wasn't too bad actually. 10x better than the last one.
shareYeah, completely agree. While I was no fan of the "tag team stuff" at all, it is vastly superior to the catastrophe that is Kills.

shareYeah, I thought when they did the whole transferring evil when grabbing the Corey guy's neck that the old Michael Myers body would sort of just die and crumble away and Corey would be the new Shape. But since he died, maybe Michael transferred the evil essence into Laurie at the end when he was grabbing her neck for a few minutes. Next Halloween Jamie Lee Curtis will be behind the mask. Lol, that would be interesting but probably stupid.
shareWhile they claim this is the end (and it 100% is for Curtis etc.), I suspect they have plans for a new trilogy, or maybe trying to build some sort of "universe" where the focuss now starts shifting from new cast to new cast, similar to Dr. Who.
At the end, she wrote: "I've said goodbye to my boogeyman, but the truth is, evil doesn't die, it changes shape."
Keyword here is shape. No coincidence. Myers was "the Shape" and this strongly hints to a possible continuation.
Realistically, I would guess this is just to keep a foot in the door to have a plausible explanation later on and nothing really serious, because... who really wants to see new Halloween without Myers or Laurie?
Just let it end for good.
Well, I don't have to make this thread. Was going to make this thread because I needed to rant. I'm part of a Halloween spoilers discussion group on Facebook. Man, are people on there spamming the news feed with this petition crap. I want to say it originated there. But it's completely ridiculous. And when you tell them to shut up and get over it/let it go, they blow up on you. And all you have to do is just say "shut up" or "let it go" or "get over it" and they reply with comments that are filled with cussing and name calling. All that "fun" stuff. There are plenty of movies I didn't like over the years of my existence, but you don't see me making petitions to have them changed. I do agree that this wasn't the best choice/direction for the final movie and maybe Halloween Kills and Ends should've swapped overall plots, but signing a petition? No. That's just ridiculous and going a little too far on complaining. I also see Halloween Ends as a movie where it's probably best to read spoilers ahead of time. I read spoilers ahead of time, knew what to expect, and was a little more patient with the movie. I enjoyed it a little more than others because of reading spoilers. I wouldn't say Halloween Ends is the best Halloween movie, but it's also not the worst and it's not my #1 least favorite. If I were to rank the Halloween movies, Halloween Ends would be somewhere in the middle, but probably more in the bottom half. I think there are 13 movies (as of 2022, just in case someone is reading this in like 5-10 years or so when there might be more Halloween movies by then). So I'd say Halloween Ends would be somewhere in the #7-9 spot. I'd have to REALLY think about it. Right now at the time of this comment being typed/written, it's just an estimation.
