Laurie sucks. The problem they have is trying to weave her into every story and if they really wanted to do a shocking end to the halloween story they should have had Michael win by tossing her into the metal grinder. I don't mind the new kids story but it would be easier to setup things if they didn't have to drag the story back to 70 year old Laurie Strode.

Realistically if she really wanted to protect herself and her family from Michael then she would have moved out of Haddonfield. Given that she was just another random victim with no personal connection to Michael then Michael wouldn't have cared.

Michael was old as shit and hadn't killed any one for forty years when he broke out in Halloween 2018 and he was still a powerful entity. Here it's only been 4 years and he's suddenly weak. Didn't make sense.

What sucked was Michael's portrayal over all. That he got his ass kicked is fine but geez at least make it entertaining and believable. That was the most anti-climactic showdown i have ever seen.

Halloween Kills which is the worst film of the franchise by a country mile, had Michael Myers turning into John Rambo and it put entertainment as the first priority.
