What would you have done as a parent/guardian if you were in Laurie's shoes?
You come home to see your granddaughter head up stairs to have sex with the psycho you were guilty of introducing her to. IIRC, Allyson is in fact an adult but do you just gloss over this the next morning? Maybe she pays her grandmother rent, which in itself entitles her to some autonomy but then again, Corey still has issues, which Laurie is well aware of.
