Pretty sure this was meant to be a different slasher movie…

And they didn’t know how to wrap it up, so they spliced in ten minutes of Michael Myers at the end and rebadged it as the final Halloween movie. Honestly not sure what I just watched or why this movie was made like it was. Completely negated Kills except a brief mention of Karen’s death. Almost like it was a reboot of a brand new series rather than a finale of the original. Just….whew…….

I think the same. It seemed to me like they were going for the anthology route that John Carpenter was wanting to take the series when Season of the Witch was made. But just with enough Michael Myers to get fans used to it. I don't mean to say I hate the film. It just felt nothing like Halloween.

Yep. It was a different movie with Halloween actors and Michael sprinkled in.

I was equally as confused after finishing it last night. The writers in this trilogy are pretty much opposed to everything I want in a Halloween movie. I give them credit for trying to do something new but they failed miserably. I was laughing at scenes that I shouldn’t have been laughing at

I was just telling someone that it was a shame Michael Myers became a minor character in his own movie!
