A movie people will either look back and appreciate or just straight up hate

Without getting too much into it, no, Michael is not the highlight of this film, which by default will turn a lot of fans off. If you like the approach they took, great. If not, skip this and don't return to this unnecessary reboot trilogy. Despite it's flaws, H20 imo was the better wrap up.

They lost me with the last one to be honest. I will watch this one out of curiousity because i'm already hearing there's No Time to die levels of pissing people off.

But the Whole series has been a let down

It's a roller-coaster of a series. Halloween 3 (initially), Halloween 5, Halloween 6, Halloween Resurrection, RZ's Haloween 2 and Halloween Kills were all movies that people didn't like.

I'm watching Halloween Ends right now. The opening before the credits is good.

It was a strange, strange route to go. I'm really not sure why they'd choose that approach, especially as an end to the trilogy. All I could think after it was over was "Hmm..."

1000% agree and had the same exact reaction.

And I can't really even say I hate it. It just felt nothing like a Halloween film.

I am a huge Halloween series fan and I loved this one, but I do think it was a very strange choice to end it with. I loved the new character introduction, and they really made you feel sorry for him, at least to me, and he was a very interesting character but a very strange choice to introduce him in the last film.
