What happened to him. Hole in the story...

This is a new timeline. Before 2018, the only other Halloween film that counts in this particular timeline is the first. So therefore, Laurie's daughter, Jamie, from Halloween 4, 5, and 6, does not exist and neither does Laurie's son from H20, which in itself ignored 4, 5, and 6 and only acknowledged Halloween 1 and 2.

Actually it's a direct sequel to only the first Halloween movie (1978). It ignores 2,3,4 and all the rest.
