The monster would have been killed within an hour of first contact with the military, most likely within minutes. All that would be needed is a few attack choppers.
shareI had bigger problems with motion-sickness. Not only was the story poorly told, but the camera movement, (should I have attempted to actually watch this nightmare) would have made me sick.
shareFortunately I've never been susceptible to motion sickness. But yes the constant camera movement was incredibly annoying. Shaky cam was the worst thing to ever happen to movies.
shareYou are so lucky. It's hard to enjoy a film when the camera's jerking and bouncing around. I pity anyone who went to see the "Blair Witch Project" when it first came out, because that film, I think, is the one to blame in starting the "shaky camera" sub-genre.

I do love this movie but I have to force myself into "its a movie" logic to accept the military can't kill it. I guess you have to go along with the Godzilla movie monster is not made of the same biological material as the rest of life.
