Extended Sonic Commercial
This show is like what happens when the guy goes back to work after a lunch break at Sonic. The actors, the lighting and style, the humor and timing all remind me of those Sonic commercials.

That led me to believe that they were affiliated somehow. Just a guess though.
This is like when someone said the DirectTV commercials reminded them of Christopher Guest movies (same actors, improv. style). And it turned out, he directed them.
