In the beginning of the movie when Carl was a little boy, Muntz was probably in his 30's or so. When Charles was 78 years old, Muntz was probably over 100? Anybody know?

And yet Muntz looked younger than Carl? Huge plot hole.
When Carl was 9, Muntz was in his prime, probably 30 something years old. So when Carl was 78, Muntz would have been pushing 100. Freaking stupid.
