CBS may want to re-think the laugh track

This show examines an interesting concept and has some parts that are pretty funny. But CBS is trying to kill its chances (with me, anyway) by the awful, intrusive, overbearing, and UNNEEDED laugh track!!!! It's 2018, CBS! This ploy from the 50's needs to GO AWAY! Maybe you've found that statistics show that showing people where they're supposed to laugh IS helpful, but, if so, I wonder if this is still the case. I, for one, am really put off by it and I feel like I'm not alone.
Just my opinion. . .

I haven't heard this laugh track, so it might be very annoying. But no, there's nothing wrong with the format of sitcoms with a studio audience. It's not dated, because plenty of people still watch shows like that. The laugh track is not supposed to tell you when to laugh, but create the ambience of a theater. It's a different concept with humour that can't be easily translated into a single-camera sitcom. What does need to go away are fake and loud laugh tracks.

I'm pretty sure that that's what this is: fake and loud! That's sure the way it sounds. :)
