After she said "only" Duke, Snake-Eyes and Storm Shaddow would return to the sequel, I spent the whole day flooding Rachel Nichols' Twitter with my sorrow and eventually asked her if there was even a chance she might even make a cameo. To that, she said, "anything can change" and simply sighted budgetary reasons for her not being listed. Not to put words in her mouth, but I think when she said "only," she meant that so-far only those three were listed.

And since she was my favorite thing about the movie, I WANT HER BACK AND AM WILLING TO PESTER PARAMOUNT UNTIL THEY ANNOUNCE SHE'LL BE IN THE SEQUEL!!! In other words, I'm starting a nerdy letter-writing campaign and would anyone like to join me?

I liked Rachel a lot in this, so I'll join your campaign to bring Rachel back on the condition that she plays Scarlett in a reboot - *not* a sequel. Rise of Cobra wasn't quite as bad as Revenge of the Fallen, but it was bad enough to make me want to see a *real* G.I. Joe movie.
