shareSo the studio is TRYING to sabotage the series even more so than they did last time? They must REALLY hate GI JOE!

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?
They're just mocking us now. They want to prove that no matter how badly they insult the fanbase, it won't matter because the general audience will watch it anyway. Why else would they take the manliest boy's toy ever and let the movie be directed by a guy who only makes movies for girls?
shareIt really is odd. I would like to think that it is just a rumor and not true. I don't understand why they wouldn't want to do their best since THEIR own money is riding on it. Even though I don't care for the film we got already, it would make much more sense to just go ahead and make a direct sequel than to do this. it isn't like the first one flopped.

I hope to God that Beiber is not in this! If he is, I hope Cobra mutilates him!

Its been confirmed that Sienna Miller and Rachel Nichols are not returning for their roles. Rachel confirmed it on her official twitter.
Joesph Gordon Levitt probably won't return either. Which is bad since they were the best things about the first one haha.
The problem this argument is that you're confusing fanbase with fanboys.
shareWTF??When there's no more room in hell, The dead will walk the earth...
Perhaps instead of making a summer blockbuster sequel they plan on making "Not another Comic Book Movie". So dancing and singing will be involved as well as a cameo of celebrities getting killed off by G.I Joe.

You know what though... The director, John Chu, has said some great things for what he has planned for GI JOE 2. His vision is much more in tone with the 1980s version - which is what fans want to see and Stephen Sommers did not do.
John Chu wants to make it more patriotic and gritty. I have high hopes. They just need to cast Flint properly. Get a good action actor.
