GI Joe vs. Star Trek.

Released within a few months of one another. GI Joe cost $175,000,000 to make, Star Trek cost $140,000,000. For $35mil less, Star Trek was 10x the movie GI Joe was in every conceivable way. The CGI on GI Joe didn't even look like it was completed, and the relatively unknown cast in Star Trek blew away the name brand cast on GI Joe. Not to mention the script was an incoherent mess. Where exactly did the producers spend 175 million dollars? It certainly didn't show up on the screen. Were they stealing money out the back door?

I made this point a few months ago on another thread. The only reason I'm here is because I just heard they're making a sequel to this rancid turd.
