Do you get to see Joseph Gordon Levitt's face in this?

as the Commander Cobra, or is he just wearing a mask?

I have a crush on him after Inception and was wondering. I've never heard of GJ Joe before lol.

Dead meat should be buried, not eaten.

He has plenty of scenes without the Mask.

You've never seen or heard of G.I. Joe before? If that's the case, you'll probably love this movie.

Not that many. Certainly not enough to improve this film in any way. :P

I assume I'm way too late to warn Menthol off G.I. Joe, but as a fan of Joseph Gordon-Levitt I was totally disappointed when I saw him. I had no idea he was in this before I started watching and he was the last person I expected to see. I would have been less surprised if Bela Lugosi showed up... He's a fantastic actor and has a real knack for picking or otherwise ending up in great movies, but this was mind-numbing schlock. I think someone once told me, or I just assumed, that he took this as a way to unwind after some more challenging roles, but geez... This is one awful movie to unwind in. Take a 6 month vacation or something. :) The guy may not be able to command tens of million dollars per role (yet), but surely he makes enough to take some significant time off if he's feeling a bit burned out.

Levitt probably took the role simply because it allowed him to play an iconic villain. He might not have realized how much the character would be re-imagined.

reply

Yeah, you see his face. Just as Rex, though. As CC, he either has a horribly scarred face, or a mask.

I would lean you to "brick." http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0393109/combined

it's a great movie and he is the star.

Yeah, you see him a few times, but do NOT expect the same thing as Inception.

I watched GI Joe tonight for exactly this reason (Channing Tatum does nothing or me, but I adored JGL in everything else I've seen him in) and I was hugely disappointed. I mean, did he even READ this script? His character had no depth, and didn't really make much sense.

It's weird because he normally makes such good choices in the roles he takes, but this... I dunno. I guess I had high hopes after how amazing he was in Incpetion. He did the best with what he was given, I guess, but what he was given was cliche dialogue and a flat character :(

Of course I'm crazy, you got me out of the Psychiatric ward of a VA hospital, stupid!
