Who will be taking over the Rex Lewis character?

Since Joseph Gordon Levitt will not be reprising the Rex Lewis character which is rather unfortunate since I think it would have been cool to see him return but who will take over the role.

Um, did you watch this movie? JGL's fate is pretty self-explanatory. And his character lives on in the sequel.
