Cristopher Eccleston Playing Ewan Bremner

Was pretty terrible to see. I only watched the film because I felt it was worth having a look if Chris agreed to do this. He has always picked his parts well and given great performances.

I have no idea why he agreed to do G.I. Joe or why he chose to play the part as Ewen Bremner, the guy in Trainspotting.

If I ignore the shock and disappointment of seeing Chris in the film, I can honestly say I enjoyed it. I like the way it was camped up a bit, not as great as what Austin Powers was done or Flash Gordon, Attack From Mars, but it had its moments. It was almost there.

Discover Sienna Miller was the Countess impressed me. Though it's alleged she did not want to be doing the film, the producers sure got their moneys worth. I've not seen her since Layer Cake, another film she looked great in.

His accent was horrendous and all over the place, it made me cringe just hearing it - it was nowhere near a Scottish accent. I know this is an over the top movie but please try to sound authentic!

Why was there any need for him not to use his own accent, it would have been so much better. I didn't think he was anything like Ewan Bremmer, certainly not in mannerisms nor did he sound like him.
