acting was .. remarkable
explosions were ... HUGE
romance was ... disturbing
action was ... unbelievable
story was ... present?
director was ... staying at home having a flu
special effects were ... the movie
suspense was ... at another movie
nudity was ALL AROUND (in my head mind you) ;)
plot was ... I forgot what a plot is, after fully watching this
drama was ... hiding galaxies away
crime was ... the making of this movie
money was ... blown away
actors were ... humiliated

I rented this just to turn my mind off and watch some dumb action flick. I got bamboozled, you cannot just watch this while having a brain and enjoy it, the entire movie is an attack at what is believable or even possible.
I like sci-fi, I realy like fantasy, but this movie is the worst I have seen for a few years. It gets a 5.8 average here, and that tells us more about the intelligence on this planet, than about the quality of this movie.

Recommendations:

If you hated this film, you may also hate Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

I like them both, actually. I know, there's some things that make G.I. Joe stupid, like tne Neo-Vipers, and the doctor looks strange, but the rest is just fine. As for ROTF, I don't love it, but I find it entertaining. A few days ago at, about 3:00 am I was completely bored, and I thought that I havent seen ROTF recently so I put it on just to see a scene or two, and it carried me away. I saw the whole movie, went to bed at 6 am, so I guess it's not that bad. It just depends on what people like to see in films and what type of films people like to see.

acting was .. OK
explosions were ... HUGE
romance was ... It worked
action was ... AWESOME
story was ... Present!
director was ... A big kid, with G.I Joe action figures
special effects were ... From good to passable
suspense was ... there
plot was ... (See story)
drama was ... (in an action movie? Get your genres right man)
crime was ... ALL YOU HATERS OUT THERE!
money was ... blown away on making A MOVIE!
actors were ... (see acting)

You guys are bi tching way too much on something that are based on a even weaker cartoon series.
Get a grip, and ENJOY the movie, don't expect every dam adaptation to be like Watchmen or Batman Begins.

That is exactly the *wrong* approach for a movie audience to take, fullmental. An audience *should* expect movies as well written and acted as the ones you mentioned. Then maybe - just maybe - we'll get something a little better from these big-budget studios than what we're getting now. If your standards are non-existent, what do you think you're going to get?

Expect crap ---> Get crap.

I agree ... this movie is pure crap. Mindless explosions for 2 hours straight. I gave it 3 stars.

I couldn't care less who won in the end ... the good guys won right?

i know this may be weird but, the first time i watched it, i absolutely loved it, but then i decided to watch it again several months later. the second time i watched it, lets just say. Rubbish.

Yup, it stank.

I thought it might be fun since I like Stephen Sommers' Mummy films, but instead it was simply...terrible. It's so difficult to find a good mindless action movie these days.

This film felt like one of those low budget and really crappily made Sci-Fi channel (excuse me SyFy channel) movies.

I just hate it when they have an opportunity to do something halfway decent, then ruin it with absolute crap plot holes and acting. Like someone else said, 2 hours of explosions. I think the worst part of this flick is how easily the baroness and co. basically waltz into the "pit" and grab the warheads back. And the cat fights. Yikes. Oh, and the "Drop the case or I'll shoot". Blech.
