One complaint

Larry Hama made the characters and the actors did a great job portraying them, the writing was great to make them come alive. The character missing is their personality, many of the GI Joes look the same. Their uniforms from the old file cards were their own characters bringing their roles to life visually. If the acting and writing were combined with more colorful and personable outfits this would be an epic win hands down.

Looking online the different characters with unique looks seem to be everyones favorites, from Storm Shadow to Snake Eyes. The rest they all dress the same, the outfits need to be as amazing as the writing is.

START THE REVOLUTION! SHRED THE GOVERNMENT! My favorite movie is V for Vendetta.

"One" complaint, LOL; look, Street Fighter's a better movie than this. xD

Not even close. I'd rather watch watch this movie 10 more times than ever watch Street Fighter again.

Oh, lolz!.. I was just about to make a comment - referencing Street Fighter (1994) & then noticed how I'd already done it. ;-/

... It's difficult to stay consistent (with the acting), between (all!) the green screens & all of the (other) open-space scenes. Because, that's all that it was. We saw the/a similar thing in The Lord of the Rings, right (?!), mainly with Frodo & Sam and ALL of the CGI, green-screen scenes, gah. :f

*Except, ofc., in LoTR they got away with it - here, it's questionable whether they had built more than, like, two rooms to use as sets (Although, "At least the action set prices had some imagination!" @http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1046173/board/thread/216968953?p=1, vastly better than retaliation!).

Edit: & omg., OK, it's been a year since the thread was started (& even more since the movie release), wonder if the OP (and whoever) still has the same opinion about the amazing writing.

(Because, it's such a terrible film, heh. So many nice elements, but together as a whole: it's, just, bad, meh. :))

P.S.
The stupid acting, was it -like- required - in order to match whatever audience (age) group they had tried to *target* ?? :o
