Same Old, Same Old (Kate)
For Dane Cook, I understand this type of movie. He's done several movies with the same type of character, just a different movie title. But Dane's a comedian.
However, Jason Briggs and Kate Hudson like to call themselves actors. If this is so, then they both went to the same 1-dimensional acting school that must turnover cheesy romantic comedy role players every other week. Kate has graduated into the 'elite' tier of actresses, but based on what? She's in there simply because of her family tree. What exactly has she done? Fool's Gold? How to Lose a Guy? Bride Wars? Same character, too many different movies. And my guess, is that she thinks her acting and her movies are pretty good. But it's always her co-stars that carry the film to the end. Jason Briggs has the same typecast in every movie, but for some reason, I think he'd at least be able to admit to it unlike Ms. A-Rod, I mean Ms. Hudson.
It's just tiring to rent another movie expecting to see something a little different then the last cookie-cutter movie checked out, only to be disapointed yet again.
Without Dane Cook and Alec Baldwin in this film, if flops harder then Gigli.
