Why does Kate Hudson.....

I thought this was a terrible movie.
I've nothing against vulgar films if they're also funny (40 YO Virgin, There's Something About Mary, The Heartbreak Kid), but this was so bad.
But my question is:
Why does Kate Hudson appear in movies in bras and bikini's, when she clearly has no breasts whatsoever?
I was just wondering?
When she's covered on top by a sweater or whatever, she looks fine. But frankly, I find it distracting when she appears in movies with just a strip of cloth covering virtually nothing.
I'm not trying to be cruel, I just find it offputting.
Surely the director and others, not least herself, would be aware of this, and it would only take a small amount of rewriting or editing to avoid.

I agree it was a terrible movie. Poorly organized, written, photographed, leads too old for their roles. The whole movie stunk. In the hands of more creative production people, better director, cameraman, wardrobe, lighting, writer, it would have played better. Just a cheap exploitation movie. I was very disappointed.

I frankly think that Kate Hudson is super cute, especially when she leans over Dane Cook in the sunshine. There is sexy and there is cute, and for this movie, having a cute female star was probably even better than having a sexy female star.

I guess that I fell for kate hudson in this movie. Many women didn't fall for Dane Cook and I can understand why it would not be an enjoyable movie for them, in that case, because for a romantic movie the viewer has to "feel" what the characters are felling in the movie. People who seaw the NC-17(highly profane) version or the R version (the R version is basically what's on the DVD) are easily turned off by the movie. I was the 2nd and 3rd time I saw the movie. The NC-13 edit is highly enjoyable but it's only available on airplanes.

I thought you were going say, Why does Kate Hudson do these stupid rom-coms when she is actually a talented actress? Does anyone remember her Penny Lane in Almost Famous? One of my all time favorite movie characters and I think she got an oscar nom for it. What happened to that Kate Hudson? Also, has anyone noticed that she usually plays bitchy girls in her Romantic "Comedy" roles?

I found it funny that this thread was posted way after she had breast implants. In the movie she is flat chested, but she now has implants.

Not everyone likes big breasts. Jeez. Small ones can be fine, too. Usually they are tighter and nipples look better, so there's that.

I'm stuck in a hotel right now watching this movie and in awe of exactly how terrible it is. Now, with respect to Kate Hudson, I just like titties. From A cup apples to D cup gazongas, I like 'em all. So I dispute your premise.

She is obviously confident with her body.
Do you think women should only appear in bras and bikinis if they have breasts to show you? Do you think everything is about what the men want to see?

Sometimes women are comfortable with themselves and don't feel the need to change themselves....I know, it's pretty crazy.
She is beautiful, she has a lovely figure, she is made the way she was supposed to be made.

Women weren't made exclusively for men attracting. It's up to them whether they want to expose their "weak" parts of the body or not, and we should respect that. Besides, I don't usually see people bashing on thin guys who wear wife beaters.
