steaming pile of field dressing...anyone else agree?

this film is 119 on the top 250 comedy films.... sure ...ok .... many other ...worse films are listed ahead of it.... but -----Formal Protest------, this movie was so un funny it made me uncomfortable while i was waiting to be entertained..... my objections are not with those who like this film, it is with the _____ who decided this was a comedy ..... i dont see how this movie fits any scope of comedy.... it is ---to me--- just completely un funny.
Now , i must get back to my search for a funny movie on this "comedy top 250" list.... what a joke. 120 and counting, still no sign of comedy.

I do agree it was more drama than comedy but there were a few moments that made me laugh quite a bit. What about it was uncomfortable for you?

It could be the many scenes with Pat (Bradley Cooper), getting upset as part of the situaitons + his bipolar condition, just like in the book.

That's understandable. It made me slightly uncomfortable as well. However, it sort of resonated with me at the same time. I think it's a great portrayal of mental health and important for people to see that do not have any mental health issues..
