I was unclear on Leo's motive

So he wanted to kill 1mil people just to prove a point? His point being: To keep humans from developing A.I. technology? To understand the danger in such an endeavour?

If I'm wrong, I apologize. If I'm right, then that seems pretty corny to me. The character, and his reasoning, seems more believable if he were half human.

I know it's only a movie, but I wasn't buying the sophistication of a A.I./android that was built in 2036 with total free-will and emotions that would fool anyone. And on top of that, he was a prototype that was given a field command? Yeah, whatever. Even Data, hundreds of years in the future, is not this sophisticated. It just didn't seem plausible and realistic to me.'

There were too many other little things wrong with this movie that made it weak and unenjoyable. Like it was quickly patched together by a Junior High drama dept. Thumbs down.
