Another Movie Not Being Promoted

I just heard about this film today. It looks like it's playing in one theater in my city, with one show per day, late at night. What the hell? The film industry is collapsing, they can't get people to go see movies, and yet they don't promote anything other than a handful of blockbuster-hopeful sequels, and they barely show the films they make. Within a week or two it will be gone from the theater for good.

I want to see it. It's playing at my arthouse theater, but not sure if I'll have a chance to see it this week and have a feeling it will be gone by Friday. I'm surprised IFC/Shudder barley promoted it because it had a festival run and got pretty good reviews. If they were going to release it like this, might as well just have thrown it on Shudder.

I watched it last night. I enjoyed it to a point, but it tries to shift gears at one point, and it felt like an unearned twist. Best I can say is that if you want to watch a movie that feels like M. Night Shyamalan's mashup of National Lampoon's European Vacation and Midsommar, this is the film for you.

I'll catch it when it hits Shudder. My arthouse theater as I expected stops showing it tomorrow.

Didn't hear about this at all.

On Shudder now btw
