It wasn't for that screaming yipping bitch they decided to put as the main character. That was awful. I have never wanted a character to die more in a movie. Horrible, horrible direction and/or acting. Whoever is responsible should be seriously hit in the face very hard. I barely made it through the film.
shareI found it okay. She did tend to get ridiculous at times, but the ending scene was worth it because she was amazing in that scene. I disliked Jennifer Carpenter much less in Quarantine.
shareI think that was on purpose. Her character seems a bit amateurish, like the presenters on those late-night TV shows that no-one watches. Bear in mind the actress is a real-life TV presenter, so this is all very natural, like Trisha or Jeremy Kyle.

Put yourself in her position, you wouldn't just run away with no expression on your face or not screaming- demons are chasing her! Plus, she didn't die.... All will be revealed in rec 4.
