A great movie? Really? 7.5/10? Are you kidding me? It is a poor movie!

Really poor movie, badly acted.

How can people rate this poor movie 7.5 is beyond me. So we are here, in a building, suddenly sealed off. Firemen enter it but cops are already here, remember? Suddenly, everything is sealed off. Five minutes ago they can enter the building, 5 minutes later the militaries are here, ready to fire on you if you try to escape. Great. Very logical. Please come on!!!

So the building is sealed off. A crazy woman start to bite and eat flesh from a cop. They manage to go back downstairs, leaving the old woman alone who does not try to follow them. Odd isn't it? Especially when you know that the others zombies later are running on you, do all they can to follow you, this old lady stay quietly in her home. Where is the logic here? Please come on!!!

The bitten policeman is downstairs. Suddenly a firemen fall from a floor and crashes on the ground. He's almost killed, just a pulse. How at this stage would you react?

1 - a cop bitten by a crazy old woman
2 - building sealed off
3 - a firemen crashed on the ground and is obviously seriously bitten/mauled too

At this stage, would you continu quietly to interview people? Remeber the journalist interviewing the little girl and joking with her, same with her mother? Remember the old guy with his comb and asking if it is already recording and complaining "I'm shining" and this guy was smiling like nothing happened? How can you project yourself in a movie with such inconsistancies? You can enjoy such a movie with such a awful plot, terrible illogical situations, people smiling when they are actually quarantined and obviously due to a biological problem, like a virus, with almost 2 dead people? Can you believe such a story? Sorry I can't. One who wrote such a poor script should be fired. Actors who agree to play this without saying "but please come on, how do you want I smile in such situation? I would be totally scared". Please come on!!!


Then we have the doctor who enters the building. ALONE !!!!!! They know from the dog in the veterinary clinic that he attacked all the others pets and became completely mad, such things can occurs with people, and this guy enters the infected building... ALONE???????? Are you kidding me??? Not even one soldier with automatic riffle to escort him? Please doctor, enter the building, you are on your own. HAHAHA. Please come on !!!!!!

This doctor handcuffs one of the 2 badly injured guys, injects something with a needle but of course one guy, not handcuffed, suddenly awaken and attacks and one is left behind alone and thus condemned. Hard to believe that a doctor who knows what is going on, does not handcuff them all tight. Really it is poor.

Then we have the little girl who suddenly "turns". One minute before she was ok, one minute later she attacks and bites her mother. Her behaviour changes like a snap. No progressive change in behaviour, you're normal and the next second you're a zombie. No faint, no shivering, no skin turning weird. Can you believe this? Is it logical?

Then they go upstairs and they are attacked again by the old woman. They kill her. Maybe it was before. At one point, they go back in that appartment, the old woman, dead, is no longer on the floor. Where is she? Not dead, is she back alive? Well at this point you are terrified to death. You shoot someone crazy, you came back later, no one is here anymore, what the *beep*!! They decide to visit the appartment, looking for the little girl. The old woman attack them again, she is hurt and faint. At this point, do you leave her like that? 1 hour ago she was shoot by a bullet, she came back to life, now you Knock her and she is unconscious, are you going to leave her? Really? I would definitely crush her skull with something to be sure, she IS dead.

Then the little girl appears, without any movement. The cop asks her gently to not move, then moves slowly towards her asking her to give him her arm to inject something. At the point of the movie, now people knows about a virus turning people into highly dangerous zombies, are you going to kneel in front of this little girl, who bite her mother 10 minutes ago and inject her something in the arm? With her eyes black? Really? Or are you going, like me, crush her skull as hard as you can?

It is just a question of logic. Because throughout ALL this movie, nothing is logical, it is just irrational behaviours that no one will have if such things happened for real. It is just IMPOSSIBLE you react like that in real world in such situation. It is about survival of the fittest. You killed those "zombies" or they eat you. As simple as that. Are you going to enter into a conversation with a zombie?

Of course what should happen happened. The little girl attack and bites the cop. They go back downstairs to discover the others zombies are trying to open the gate and they panick because the woman is handcuff to the stairwell. They want to free her but they don't have the key. But hadn't she been bite? So free her was a stupid thing.

You will notice that no one thought to seek shelter Inside an appartment. They are in the entrance, they are in the stairwell or in the appartment of the old lady. Wouldn't you try to find a secure area, an appartment where everybody can wait quietly? No, they just want to escape the building despite the obvious fact the building is sealed off and completely surrounded by military people, ready to fire on them.

Back to the doctor. You remember he enters the building alone and with a complete biological suit. Anyone can tell me why he removed his mask? He tells people than they believed infection is propagated through saliva. So if your mouth or eyes are in contact with saliva, the risk to get infected are close to 100%. That doctor is talking to people who are shouting, completely afraid. When you talk very loud, in panick, shouting, crying, don't you think saliva is send to the surrounding air easily and thus you can breathe it?

Don't you think talking with people shouting and afraid to die, the chances some saliva come off their mouths towards yours and thus get infected are high?

But for this doctor, no problem at all, he removes his protection!!!!!!!!! Please come on. Who wrote and directed this movie? When I Watch this movie, I feel that the director consider me like a dumb who is going to swallow everything you throw at him. I'm not idiot, I'm intelligent and no, I can't accept such stupidities.

Then this very smart doctor got... bite. He closed himself the door but the neighbour, finds that it is intelligent to speak near the window door and happens what should have happened: he got bite by the doctor through the window door.

Remember the journalist and the cameraman, running up to the last floor with a lot of keys? Before they enter an appartment, the fireman looking at the entrance with a big hammer (sorry I'm not English, I don't know what the name is in that language). Before he succeeded to kill a zombie. So he's guarding the entrance while they are looking for the keys. The find a lot of keys, they go out, of course the fireman has been bitten and he has already turned into a zombie. How fast !!!!!!!!!! Remember the little girl, hours and hours without anything, but the fireman, big heavy guy, who turn in 5 min. Whether the little girl is very strong or the firemen are no longer what they were. ;)

So they go out with a bunch of zombie running after them to eat them. In that same situation, would you succeed to open your door with your only key? With a bunch of zombies, totally scaring, running after me, I'm not sure I cuold open my door because I would be so frightened, my hands and finger would be maybe not responding correctly. But them, in front of an unknown door, with at least 20 keys, they succeeded to open the main door. Not even a fight against one zombie, they enter and close the door. Waouhh, can you believe this? They tried a key, by chance it was the good one. That journalist never try to play lotery?

Then the last 10 minutes of the movie. I agree it was for me the best part, all the rest is piece of *beep* except the other part when the cameraman is shooting throughout a small Windows the 2 almost dead men on the table, one handcuffed.

So they are in this appartment, remember the girl is shouting and crying. Remember at the end the woman zombie coming towards them in the dark and attacking them because she heard them making a noise?

So they enter appartment, with the light of the camera on, crying, shouting like hell, the zombie does not come towards them. Later in the dark, the female zombie comes slowly, the girl journalist hits something on the ground making a sound, the zombie attack them. Please come on!!!!!!!

The zombie boy in the attic was *beep* scary. All those papers, kind of experiments were scary. That female zombie was scary, who is she? How long has she been there? But the end is really poor, again.

And the acting is poor, many times people faces are not the ones real people would have in similar situation. The journalist is bad acted. Many people bad acted. What is a good movie? When people playing in the movie give you the feeling they are living the events, when those actors do not give you the feeling they are acting, they are playing a role, but on the contrary they are the character they are playing.

In this movie, I see a bunch of beginners, I see people acting, not living their characters.

And this camera, so the image is always moving, you almost end up with a headache at the end.

Ah, already spotted in another thread, the journalist asking to rewind the tape, so that she can see what happened. How can we witness the rewind and see the rewind? Completely illogical. Another crap.

So 7.5/10 for this movie? Please come on!!! What is a note and what is the goal of a note? To help people to decide if the movie is good or not, comparing to others. If you give 7.5/10 for this poor movie, how much will you give for horror masterpieces? 15/10? 20/10? You see the dead end to give high notes to a poor movie?
