Rewinding the video tape?

This might be a little nit-picky, but the creators keep harping on how realistic the movie is supposed to be, so...

After the cop shoots the fat lady, Angela tells Pablo to rewind the tape so she can see exactly what happened...

...I don't understand how we are able to see the tape rewinding and playing again... somehow the camera records its own tape? How can it record itself rewinding and playing? Or do I just not understand how cameras work?

(On a similar note, I really could not stand how Angela kept rewinding/fast-forwarding to perfect spots on the audio tape at the end.)

yeah, assuming we're supposed to be watching the tape after it gets recovered by HAZMAT + Spanish SWAT or w/e, it wouldn't make sense that it would rewind while recording.

it'd only work if we were watching a tape of someone recording the tape (like video camming a youtube vid), but that just doesn't make sense plot-wise

and the audio thing ticked me off a bit too. they could have at least started the dialogues mid-sentence :P

but otherwise, I think it was a great movie

Well, the American version solved the problem by not showing that. But, truth be told, I don't think most noticed this because they were to involved in actually enjoying the movie.

I enjoyed the movie quite a bit but I definitely noticed that too.

She couldn't believe what had happened and wanted to see it again. Her breathing and non-verbal responses tell us exactly how upset she was by the whole shock of killing what she thought was a human being gone mad.

A woman can be any shape she wants.
What about a hexagon?

That bothered me too. Took me right out of it.
