What's the city and a dam at the end?

Hi, what's that city skyline (and a dam on the left) at the last scene, before closing credits? I tried to find this highway and the dam using Google Earth around Los Angeles, with no luck. Thanks in advance.

The movie wasn't filmed in LA. Locations said London & South Africa.

That dam is right next to the HOLLYWOOD sign.

That would put them driving south on Highway 101, with downtown LA in the distance and behind a lot of lovely smog. Geographically makes no sense if you assume Ophelia's taking him home, but it's a pretty shot.
