Not bad, BUT.....
If we are discussing recent movies about deafness - I thought "Sound of Metal" was better. "CODA" was good. It had some nice moments. It's a nice story, but "Sound of Metal" was much more interesting. It was a lot more intense as well. "CODA" cleaned up at the Academy Awards and that's fine. I don't think "Sound of Metal" won anything. I don't understand why not. So, anyway, just my take. I think "Sound of Metal" was better than "CODA". I'd love to hear some other viewpoints.....
