That's a bit harsh. It may not be a disaster.
The original was by no means a classic. It's not thought of as a classic, apart from a few die hard circles. It's dated, it was poorly dubbed in parts. Some aspects we dodgy acting.
However, the lighting was incredible, the set ups, the colours and Argento typical direction.
I'm keen to see a remake on this.
Not every remake will be as bad as psycho. That was horrible
Ikr , at best it will be as good as "Let me in" which I actually find suck comparing to the original .
