Who is Moretz playing?

I was assuming when they cast her that she'd be playing the lead, but now IMDb has Dakota Johnson listed as Suzy Bannion. Is she going to be playing the Stefania Casini character?

I think that is a bad move on the producers part as I personally like her and to me she should be probably the lead or the room mate. I think you are right she will be the girl running through the woods who will get killed brutally :(.

See bring opening kill isn't bad. Take scream for example, even though drew is in it for a short time it ended up being the most memorable opening scene to a horror movie ever.

I would only watch this is chloe was the lead. Otherwise this film sucks hairy ballsacks.

According to the cast list, she is playing Patricia, which I assume is "Pat" from the original film. If that's the case, she will come to an early and spectacular demise if they are true to the original story, since Pat was the girl seen running from the ballet school at the beginning of the film and was stabbed repeatedly and hanged in the first ten minutes.

At the time I posted this there was no character attached to her name on the cast list, smart ass. Try again.

All of the news articles released on October 3rd announcing her casting don't specify who she plays.

You're missing the point anyway. There was no information on which character she was playing when I posted this two weeks ago, and someone has since listed her as "Patricia" on here.
