Too much fantasy
Multiple times per episode there's some crazy feature on a dinosaur for which there is absolutely not the slightest hint of evidence, except that one modern animal do something similar. And without ever making a distinction between what we know and what is speculation/fantasy.
These dreadnoughtuses with series of sequentially firing external throat sacks, also them all going in huge herds to the desert (how much do you reckon big herbivores like that eat?), dinosaurs purposely starting fires to easily snatch up prey, travelling to make nests on a volcano, using stars to navigate, the sneaky males with completely different morphology than the normal males, triceratops going very deep in a completely black cave to eat some mud as antidote to poisonous plants, ammonites superfast syncing crazy bioluminescence patterns.
For me this goes a bit too far in mixing fantasy with reality. It is one thing to make some assumptions on behaviour based on physiology and closest living relatives and convergent evolution, but to just assume some VERY rare feature to be on one specific dinosaur that is not particularly closely related to the animal that has it, is so far out there!
Because what's the point really of learning about dinosaurs if every second thing you 'learn' is completely devoid of fact? Even if you're aware of the fact that some stuff is bullshit, you might unconsciously store some of it anyway, things you don't explicitly notice. And I don't want to stop and google every little thing.
Stopped watching after 4.5 episodes because of this.
