ive seen help, and part of the wall and detroit rock city most of it

If you want a comedy movie, Walk Hard and Of course the Rocker are your best choices (This is spinal tap is really good too)

If you want serious, Walk the Line and Great Balls Of Fire are awesome too.

Just adding one more to the comedy movie list, check out The Rutles - it's a mockumentary made by Eric Idle (one of the Monty Pythons). Personally, I find The Rutles and This is Spinal Tap better than Walk Hard, but Walk Hard wasn't *that* bad - I just found it too cliched in making fun of music-biopic cliches (ironic, isn't it!)

Try Still Crazy which is about a 70's rock/punk band or Rock My World which has Alicia Silverstone in it. Both are a couple of my favorites. Then there is always Rockstar with Mark Wahlberg.

Its a serious movie, relatively but Almost Famous is a great movie. It has a lot to do with classic Rock.
