The acoustic song throughout the movie

Does anyone know what this song is loosely based off of? it plays alot after fish is kicked out. its just a couple chords but it sounds very familiar like this other song and i cant think of the name of it. if anyone can help that would be awesome

It is just the part of the movie's score, written by Chad Fischer.

He fronted the band Lazlo Bane that recorded the theme song for the TV show Scrubs. Maybe some similar chordes in there.

I thought it sounded familiar too and it bothered me till I figured it out. It sounds like Interstate Love Song by Stone Temple Pilots.
