Good movie, horrible music
Seriously, the music is what ruined it for me.
I am getting sick and tired of that Disney crap.

Same here. I really liked the movie, but as a lifelong musician myself I was sickened by the "music." I was really hoping for something better. I tried to get past it, though. Although I had a lot of trouble wrapping my head around a band like THAT opening for a band like Vesuvius. Who, btw sucked pretty hard as well.
I watched this movie because I love rock flicks (...Spinal Tap, Still Crazy, Rockstar) and Dwight Schrute (Aka Rain Wilson)
Still funny for the most part, if not standard and predictable.
if the movie didn't feature teddy geiger and his sh!thouse john mayer wannabe rubbish i would have at least brought myself to care about seeing the band succeed. i don't expect great music in a movie like this but christ, it looked so weird to see a pub crowd bop along to those songs
shareIt was a fun little movie but those emo/sensitive songs made me want to punch that kid singer in the throat. Those songs definitely killed any momentum leading up to those scenes.
