Not only was it the worst Archie Bunker impression I've ever seen or heard, his acting was atrocious. What was with the arm and wrist movements? He looked like he was making fun of someone who has Parkinson's disease, or someone who has brain damage as a result of oxygen deprivation.
On a positive note, Marisa Tomei was great as Edith.
Couldnt sit through the All In The Family portion because of this very reason
I thought the actors would just perform their scripts, and just not try to imitate the originals, those were their interpations of the character
any revivial of Arsenic & Old Lace dosent have the lead going around "Judy, Judy, Judy"
it also shows how amazing carol o'connor was in the role.
