Really not the best they have done in recent years

Ok I don’t want to open a can of worms here but, although I don’t mind a mention that « kid has 2 mothers » or shit like that in kids movies , I was slightly annoyed by the lesbian scenes in this. It just felt « off ». Or “off-putting” maybe? Like;
«Hey guys, let’s make a black lesbian character and have her kiss another women in the new Buzz Lightyear movie! »
« Oh yeah, great idea, this is SO 2022! »
« Eh, Why ? It doesn’t even suits the purpose of the story…»
« Shut up homophobe !!»
“Yeah, Homophobe!!!”
My little rent being over, about the film; It looks stunning with amazing graphics and cool spatial settings but the story and characters were underwhelming to me. My rating: 6/10

I enjoyed it. I thought this was entertaining and fun. Sox the cat is the best character in it. 8/10 is my rating.

I really dislike movies that push a societal agenda, especially to kids. It boils down to propaganda. We're better than that...or, at least we were.

There's a reason Disney is having serious financial problems now, in addition to the embarrassment of no less than six gigantic, expensive flops last year. People are tired of the BS and won't pay to see their movies anymore. They don't trust Disney to be a family-friendly company and are not interested in having a discussion with their kids before seeing a film that's supposed to be about a beloved, clean character.

Not to mention people are tired of seeing deconstruction and post-modernism that destroys beloved characters in favor of characters that nobody likes or knows about.
