Finally!!!

I’ve been wanting to see this movie for quite some time, and finally found a copy for five bucks. At the same time, I was scared to watch it what with all I’ve heard. The first thing I thought when the movie began was “why this France movie has a bunch of Quebec actors I know in it ?” Then, excuse my French but seeing Xavier Dolan getting shot by a 12 gauge shotgun in the chest was a fucking glorious moment. 😆 Seriously though, it was a tough watch, as I expected, but it was also an amazing film. The acting is the main feat but everything else is good too. It’s brutal, it’s bloody and it’s dark as hell but it’s all so expertly crafted. I was ravaged. Sometimes when you wanted to see a movie for too long, it can easily disappoint and this one didn’t. My rating: 8.5/10
