Such a shame...

When I saw the scene where, Gekko sees Sheen in the restaurant I thought "This movie's going somewhere now!" But alas no. It didn't. The scene was lame, and basically a "I'm okay, how are you?" exchange, and a wasted opportunity - Like the whole film was. It would've been great to see them argue, with Sheen saying something like, "I lost everything 'cause of you! Gekko!" And Gekko could've said; "You're talkin' bull kid. I made your ass great! And YOU blew it."

As much as I don't like Quinten Tarrantino, if he had written the script, it would been a better tale of revenge.

It also would've been great to see where Daryll Hannah's character was at. Was she all washed-up? Was she married to some billionaire (probably). How was Sheen's dad? Was he now a millionaire owner of the aircraft company? (I can't recall the name of it)

Such a shame... 
