losing your license to trade stocks....

i rewatched wall street 2 again a couple of nights a ago and a few things are racking my brain. one of them is that if you loose your license to trade for the reasons gekko lost his for, does that mean that he cant get it back again or is it just in the the country the crime was committed cause when you see the latter part of the film he has a firm in london so does that mean he can have license there and is that one of the loopholes.

i hope someone can help me with this question. thanks in advance.

While Boesky is banned from trading in American markets, he could theoretically trade on foreign exchanges.

Looks like Gordon hid some $$$s, plus that of the book

-Could he NOT work with a trader to do his trades??? Pay a fee or commission??

Looks like that is what he was trying to do with the Labeouf
