Does anyone know the name of the prison used in the movie? Next to the ocean seems a very nice place for the location of a prison.

I think it was from Sing Sing maximum-security prison, in Ossining, Westchester County, the ocean would be the Hudson which can be very wide

Checked on Google Earth and the Hudson is just over 3km wide at Sing Sing

I have rewatched that scene and you can see the opposit shoreline

^Have no clue how wide 3km is, but maybe you are right and it is Sing Sing. I stand corrected.

that is a state prison, didn't he get booked on federal charges, hence a federal prison?
