Charlie Sheen 1987 vs Shia LaBeouf 2010

That may be true but those are the guys that still look goooood in their 40's and beyond, while most of the guys considered manly and hot in my younger days are now just fat and bald and jealous. I'm a girl, and maybe it's just how most of guys I grew up with turned out but it's often the case. Just what I've noticed, anyway!

I agree that he cant command confidence, but i do think that it because of his looks. When he delived the line about "if you ride for the rest of your life, youll never be as good as me", i didnt know if it was meant as a cocksure challenge, or a friendly joshing.

When people stop watching his movies. I mean I don't, except for this movie because I'm a fan of the first movie, but a lot of people who don't know what good acting is watch his movies, and sadly, they pay. We should be paid for watching this talentless ****.

LeBeauf was not the cause for those movies sucking, at all. Indy 4 had stupid scenes like with the chipmunks and the refrigerator. Transformers was just all bad, even the robots sucked ass. Wall street 2 was horrible and LeBeauf is arguably (and sadly) the only decent performance in it. He performed poorly in the other 2 but he wasn't the main reason they sucked.

Sheen was a great while Shia is B.S.

Disregarding whether he can act or not. The simple fact is he was completely miscast in the role. He is not only too young but he also looks too young. An I-banker at the level he was supposed to be at and with the credibility he was supposed to have would have been older, most likely in their early 30's he is about 10 years too young to be believable. That was my problem... was like having a teenager play a grandfather, it just made you want to laugh.

Shia probably wasn't born when they were filming the original Wall Street, so how could he have been in the original? And James Spader WAS in the original, just not a main part. Charlie was perfect. I can't imagine anyone else as Bud Fox...and obviously since his father played his father it was perfect. There is a whole discussion about Charlie and Martin's performances and relationship on the DVD extras.

Cruise would be better, Shia is gonna look 21 til he is 45ish -

I first Wallstreet was a way better movie, Sheens character was more likable and realistic. Plus Winnie Gecko wasn't born yet. Gordon Gecko was good but he was way better in the original.
