For those who saw it in the theatre, how did the Bud Fox moment ...

... moment go over with the crowd? Any hooting or laughs or applause? I figure a packed house would really respond to that scene!

I finally saw the movie last night and when I saw Gekko meet up with Bud, I literally said "HOLEEEE SH!T." It was one of the coolest moments I've seen in a movie.

I am wondering this myself. I guess nobody saw this in cinema

People went wild! I yelled out "OMG! It's Bud Fox!" Other people reacted when he appeared on screen. One guy started applauding! I love Charlie Sheen so I was really glad he made an appearance in this film.

Nobody reacted to Bud Fox, it's not like the older middle aged crowd is going to go wild like a bunch of kids seeing Luke Skywalker appear at the beginning of a new Star Wars film.

reply

Well, a lot of people reacted when Charlie Sheen appeared in the theater that I saw this movie in! Just because it didn't happen where you were doesn't mean it didn't happen elsewhere.

I didn't see it in the the theater but the interaction is a lame scene. Mediocre writing. Disappointing.

reply

I don't remember an audible reaction from the crowd but I know I was happy to see him. I liked learning how he turned out. While I'm glad he made some money after getting out of prison, it seemed like wealth hardened him. But at least Bud Fox became a philanthropist!

reply

Looked like he just run into Charlie Sheen himself, lazy character writing.
