Just seen it for the first time and have a couple of questions

1. Why would Baja invite Jake to the party in the first place? Was she just plain stupid or hoping to get Jake into trouble all along? She clearly liked him from their meeting at the school but she must have known Ryan would want to fight him. Don't undertsand why she seemed so upset and suprised when Ryan started the fight and then bragged etc. by kissing her- this was obviously going to happen.


2. More importantly why would she be with Ryan in the first place? She hated all the fighting stuff so she had nothing in common with him- plus he's clearly a complete jerk. Was it just a status thing?

Don't really get her character. It's too easy the way she changes from being flirty/inciting trouble and caring about her popularity at the start, to being sweet and caring with Jake towards the end.
