I decided to watch wrestling for the first time in about a year. This might have been the worst PPV I've ever seen. I can't believe they are still doing the briefcase gimmick in 2019. It got stale at least a decade ago.

WWE hasn't done anything new or interesting in the time you weren't watching. I'm a lifelong wrestling fan but WWE has been lame and terrible for quite a few years now. Try ROH or even the NWA.

Last I remember they seemed ready to give Drew, Elias, and Braun Stroman a big push, and now a year later these guys are still mid-card jobbers. And then I see an advertisement for the next Saudi show where Undertaker who has retired at least a dozen times will once again be competing against...Goldberg?

I will probably check out AEW, but I don't really have high hopes for it either.

Ending it with Brock winning the case was a disaster. Charlotte getting yet another title win was stupid. They are clearly just padding the number of reigns she has to rush her to beat her father's record.

Brock winning was unbelievably stupid. As much as I hate the MITB gimmick, the ladder matches are usually at least pretty exciting. But this was so dumb. Brock came in at the end of the match, did one move, and then won the briefcase. It seems like very match Brock does is less than 3 minutes. Maybe that's what is stipulated in his contract? He dropped the title to Goldberg in 60 seconds or whatever a few years ago, and then he lost to Rollins at WM in a couple minutes. I'm pretty sure he's won titles in a few minutes too. It's unbelievable that Vince and HHH are giving special privileges to guys who refuse to perform for longer than a few minutes.
