don't Health Departments care about Guy eating in kitchens?

I used to work as a short order cook in a flea market restaurant.

I would *NEVER* let someone eat right over my food prep area!!

Don't chefs, owners and health departments care about food safety?

I'm just asking...

"Rue the day?" Who talks like that?

Most of the time he's there when they're closed...

And I would assume they clean up after the segment.

In fact, does it really matter what happens in a kitchen as long as there was a complete cleaning afterward. Otherwise, wouldn't that mean that if anyone ever cut themselves in a kitchen and bled on something (even a countertop) it would have to be thrown out?

I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, "... I drank what?"
