Health Concern


It never ceases to amaze me that people get so upset about things like eating in the food preparation area when the most obvious health issue in restaurants is NEVER addressed. You never, ever, EVER, see anyone wash their hands on this show or any other cooking show. And on the very rare occasions when they do - like when someone goes from cutting raw meat to preparing a salad - they half wash their hands. Usually they spend about four seconds and call that a good cleansing. Why bother if all you are going to do is wet your hands?

Remember, there is a lot of the footage that remains at the proverbial cutting room floor. This is done since they need to cram 3 segments as well as advertisements into a 30 minute time slot. If they were to add the footage of everyone washing their hands it could go beyond the 1/2 hour time slot. Now if this were a 1 hour show with 3 segments per episode then they would have the time to show more details to the show such as hand washing.
