Who crapped the bed and greenlighted this abortion?
Absolutely terrible. Terrible characters, terrible dialogue, terrible 'twists' at the end, thoroughly terrible.
Go see the French-Canadian film 7 Days instead. Similar plot, but done way, waaaay better.
7 days is a great movie, but nothing like this movie at all and I wouldn't say it was better either. From the beginning it appears like its going in the 7 days direction, but it doesn't. It veers off into a twist which is not seen in alot of the "mindless" torture porn flick. This movie is a breath of fresh air for the usual repetitive plots we see.(Like 7 days for example) 7 days is just your run of the mill revenge flick while this is much more. This was hardly predictable because you think you have it all figured out and then at the end you get hit with a whammy.
you havent seen many "torture porn" flicks lately if you think twist is new thing. twist at the end is becoming cliche fast.
