How on earth would they know!

How did Craig and whats-her-face know where and when the cop car would be transfering the killer? And how did they know they would stop for coffee? It just doesn't seem plausible.

It's just not the same without Grissom, Sarah and Warrick.....especially Warrick - yum!

Yeah, their entire plan hinging on the transport people stopping for coffee seemed a bit implausible to me. As to your other question, I guess we're just to assume that they found out somehow off camera or something.

Yeah, I guess so. I hate it when they do that. I really enjoyed the film but it took me a while to get over that! lol

They were haning outside the prison or whatever it was to see then he was going to be transfered.

They didnt know if they were going to stop but they guessed they would stop at some point, You see in the movie when Craig or whats-her-face said that they werent gonna stop but a few seconds later they did.

Why do you refer to Erika Christensen as what's-her-face? What does that mean?

Her name is Elise but people just don't remember names. I will have forgotten all the character's names come morning.

When I watched the movie, I got the feeling that they were mostly just waiting for an opportunity. Maybe they had prepared for different opportunities, like if they a coffee break, they would have a solution for that. (sort of like plan A, B, C etc.)

Seemed like a mix of luck, improvising, and a flexible plan. It wasn't like an elaborate masterplan though, it was obvious that they were amateurs, and that's why they only just made it.
