I re-watched the ending to confirm my understanding of the ending. If I had not been typing while I was watching the movie I would not have had to watch the ending twice. I came to the came conclusion that "jnvestal" did in the thread titled "Ending explained for those confused."

One thing that was not mentioned was the scene where he had is insides pulled out. That was an obvious dream / hallucination which confirmed the fact he was broken down mentally.

Good flick if you disregard the fact that they could not identify him as the wrong person, but to be honest I did not pick up on the fact that they had the wrong guy as I was watching the torture.

I just finished it myself. The twist fooled me and I didn't see it coming...but if you want a see a better and more serious vengeance movie similar to this check out 7 Days. It's a French movie w subtitles that deals w exact same plot line so to speak
