Surviving the film was the real torture test

****spoiler****

The entire movie is absurd, especially the ending which could've been handled more responsibly. As it is, in the closing shot we see the couple driving away leaving the viewer to believe they have closure. In this ridiculous story, this is not the end for them. They'll go home and learn from a news broadcast, or a call from the sheriff, that the killer has been recaptured and the tax evader remains at large. We were robbed of the couple's emotions, the shock, the horror, the guilt upon hearing the news that they've just tortured the wrong guy.

Yeah, this movie blew. But it would've benefitted greatly from a few more minutes showing their reactions to having killed the wrong guy.

I got into the beginning...that was well done..
but the hijacking and torture was over the top.
I had trouble watching after they had him on the table.

one thing though... Erika Christensen sure looks a lot like Julia Stiles.

I agree with what your saying . started off strong but once they got to the torturing which was 30 minutes in they had nothing else for the next hour.

Im not interested in watching found footage of someone getting tortured. I expected it would be apart of the story but to dedicated majority of the movie to random torture tactics is too much

wouldve been better if they did the torture for 10 minutes then killed him. Then the rest of the movie is about how they killed the wrong guy and the cops are catching on to it. Now that wouldve been entertaining
